2009 Summer Youth Programs Dates and Themes:
Session One:

It’s Fun to Be Safe:
The first week campers learn about bicycle, swimming, fire, and personal safety. Campers will also be able to showcase there bicycle skills on Friday during the bike rodeo!
Session Two:

It’s all about the Outdoors:
During this week campers will learn skills related to camping, backpacking, and other fun outdoor activities!
NO CAMP JUNE 29-JULY 3
Session Three:

Water, Fun, and Sun:
Let’s go outside and have some fun! Campers will participate in many fun outdoor activities and games. Be prepared to get wet this week since many of the activities will involve water.
Session Four:

Wacky Sports:
Campers will have fun learning some “not so traditional” sports. These sports will include new exciting sports such as Ultimate Frisbee, along with adding some twists to sports campers may already know!
Session Five:

The Wonderful World of Science:
Campers get ready to be in awe when you learn fun experiments! This will be so much fun campers will want to learn more! Topics will range from the human body mechanics, to animals, to some natural “reactions”.
Session Six:

Forty-Niner Olympics:
Campers will have an opportunity to show off the skills they have learned during the summer. Many “Olympic” theme events will take place during this week, along with adding some international themes to each day!

Niner Fever:
The coming of August also means the end of Summer Youth Program for the summer. This week will focus on “Niner Fever”, with many fun activities around the UNC Charlotte campus.
