Job Description:
An Intramural Sports Official and/or Scorekeeper is responsible for enforcing the policies and procedures of Intramural Sports. He/she must learn and enforce rules of the sport. All Officials and Scorekeepers must attend training sessions to learn rules, mechanics, positioning. Additional Official's and Scorekeeper's duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide a safe environment for participants to compete
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Remain partial and fair to all teams
- Develop knowledge of the rules, positioning and mechanics for each sport
- Provide customer service to the participants
- Submit availability and confirmation of shifts via the web site.
- Attend all training sessions
Education Requirements:
- Must be current UNCC student.
