What is it?
A $4,000 annual contribution by the Briggs family to honor exceptional students involved in Recreational Services.

Who is eligible?
- Undergraduate students who will be classified as a Junior or Senior for Fall of 2008
- Minimum of 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Must be active in Recreational Services
- Must hold a part time job

2008 Application Procedures:
(All materials must be submitted together in a single packet. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.)
- Fill out an application Form
- Two letters of recommendation (May not use RS staff members)
- Written essay 350 word minimum:
"Why I believe I should be the recipient of the P.J. Briggs Scholarship"

2008 Recipient:
The 2008 PJ Briggs Scholarship recipient is Alisha Younts. The Department is honored to give this scholarship to such a deserving individual.
