Registration Information:

$100 if postmarked byOctober 5th.
$125 if received before/on October 16th

Certified check or money order payable to "CSOA" or "Charlotte Sports Officials Association"

 
Divisions:

Men's and Women's leagues will be offered. NO CO-REC DIVISION

Eligibility:

The North Carolina Collegiate Flag Football Tournament (NCCFFT) is open to all colleges, universities, and militairy installations within North Carolina. All teams must provide a roster signed by their Registrar indicating their enrollment status for the fall term.

Individuals must be eligible under their own policies and guidelines.

  Hotel Information:

Lodging for the tournament can be arranged through Comfort Suites. Please contact the hotel at 877.547.0049 and ask for the UNCC rate. Rooms are $58 per night and include:
-hot breakfast
-microwave, refrigerator, and coffeemaker
-free local phone calls

Awards:

Champions in the Men's and Women's divisions will win t-shirts, a team plaque and entry into the Southern Atlantic Flag Football Tournament @ UNC Wilmington.

Individual awards include Offensive MVP and Defensive MVP. (award and t-shirt)

Tournament Officials:

Officials from across the state are invited to participate in the tournament. Two Officials will be selected as All-Tournament Officials, these officials will receive:

  • A bid to the Regional Tournament in Wilmington, NC.
  • Individual Plaque

  Tournament Schedule (Tentative):

Friday, October 19 -
Captain's meeting 530pm, Comfort Suites Hotel
Officials meeting 6pm-9pm, Comfort Suites Hotel

Saturday, October 20 -
Optional Captain's Meeting, 715am, on fields
(only for those teams unable to make the 5:30pm meeting)
Pool play games: 800am - 600pm
Team social

Sunday, October 21 -
Playoff bracket games: 800am - 400pm

Roster Form

UNCC Release (REQUIRED - one per player)

Campus Map - to get to the fields from the hotel parking lot: turn right on HWY 29, go approx 1.5 miles, entance to campus is on right. Fields are directly in front of you, behind buildings.

Area Map - Surrounding points of interest, relative positions to the University.

Uniforms - Teams should bring 2 sets of jerseys.

ID's- All players must present their University ID card prior to each game. Please remind all players to bring their ID.

Directions to the Hotel:
Traveling North on I-85: Exit 42 (HWY 29). Hotel is 1/2 mile on right after the HWY 49 split.
Traveling North on I-485: Exit 33 (HWY 49). Hotel is 2 miles on the right
Traveling South on I-85: Exit 45-A (Harris Blvd) to Hwy 49. Exit right on University City Blvd Hotel 1/2 mile on right.

Directions to the Fields:
Traveling North on I-85 (or Hotel): Exit 42 (HWY 29). Travel 2 miles (passing the hotel) until you reach the UNCC campus. Entrance will be on the right from HWY 29 and fields can be seen behind the buildlings. NOTE: You will see a sign for UNCC saying to turn right onto HWY 49, DO NOT turn on HWY 49.

Traveling North on I-485: Exit 32 (HWY 29). Turn left and travel 2 miles to the UNCC campus. Entrance will be on your left from HWY 29 and fields can be seen behind the buildings. You will need to do a u-turn at the light. NOTE: You will see a sign for UNCC saying to exit onto HWY 49, DO NOT exit on HWY 49.

Traveling South on I-85: Take I-485 South and use Exit 32 (HWY 29). Turn right and travel 2 miles to the UNCC campus. Entrance will be on your left from HWY 29 and fields can be seen behind the buildings. You will need to do a u-turn at the light.
