What if I lost my 49er ID can I use another form of identification to sign in at a game?
The only ID accepted at the game site is your current UNC Charlotte 49er student ID card. ID’s that don’t look like the person presenting them or have poor picture quality may not be accepted at a game/event. Intramural Supervisors have the right to refuse an ID. Please refer all questionable situations to the Intramural Sports office prior to the night of play.
The reason we don't allow other forms of identification is for liability purposes. Community members and non-students are prohibited from playing Intramural Sports. The 49er ID serves as your "official license" on the campus of UNC Charlotte. It is required to have this form of identification on you at all times. |

I don't have a team to play on, can I still play?
Many students don't have full teams to play on and then decide not to register for a sport. This is false. Even if you don't have a team, you can still register in the intramural office as a "Free Agent". There is a separate "Free Agent " meeting for students and we always find a team for you to play on. We want every student to have the abiltiy to play a sport and get involved.
Or, you may join a team mid season by registering online for that team. Just make sure you have not played on that type of team already (Single Sex or CoRec division). |

Are "Free Agent" teams competitive? Recreational?
Both! Free Agents are sometimes the better Intramural players. These teams are just as competitive and if not better than some of the other teams. We also have Free Agent teams that just go out and play for fun. At our meeting, we try to gauge your interest level and match you up with a team that best fits your needs. |

Can I register my team online?
YES! This is new to Intramural Sports this year. The day registration begins there will be a link to register your team. You will be required to fill out all the information (still with the minimum number of players) and all your players correct information. The link will be removed the day registration closes at 5:00pm. Please make use of this new idea and give us your feedback, good or bad. |

How can I add players to my roster?
The best way to add players is submitting your original roster with the players on it already. This may take more time but it is worth it by avoiding possible ineligible players.
The second best way is to submit a player add/drop request online at least 24-hours prior to the game. This link can be found on our website under Sports Schedules and Results.
The most convienient but most risky way is that you may add players at the game site. Any player may sign-up on site, but your team is taking responsibility that the player added is eligible and has not played on another single sex/corec team already for that sport.
All player additions can only be added during regular season play. The completion of the playoff meeting is the deadline for all roster additions.
Any questions regarding player eligibility should be asked about Monday-Friday in Belk Gym 222 to ensure quality answers. Intramural Supervisors and Sports Officials will not have access to accurate information at the fields or courts. |

I don't want to play on my team anymore, what should I do?
If you have checked in with that team for that sport, you are no longer eligible to play for another team within that same sex division. If you have never checked in for that team for that sport, you may request a Player Drop from a team and then submit a Player Addition (see above). |
