 Fitness Programs
The UNC Charlotte Fitness Program is a year round program that offers a wide variety of services and fitness classes for all interests and levels. Our Fitness Center, located in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center (SAC), offers cardiovascular equipment, Cybex and FreeMotion resistance machines, and free weights, providing students and faculty/staff members with a comprehensive fitness facility. All students may enjoy group fitness classes and use the facility during any open hours, free of charge. Certified Group Fitness Instructors teach a wide variety of classes while Fitness Assistants are available to assist with proper use of exercise equipment, provide spotting, and answer questions about exercises.
